What is a ‘made to order’ product?

A ‘made to order’ product means the hat is produced after the customer places an order. It is a custom order made for a specific size. Because of this, orders take a little longer to get to the customer but we promise the wait will be worth it! Hats take up to two weeks for production and up to two weeks to ship and arrive. Does bristol allow returns and exchanges?

No. All hats are made to order and produced based on that specific order. If you have any questions or concerns about your brim once received, please contact info@bristolhatsnyc.com.  

What material are the hats made of?

Accent and Staple are made out of 100% fur felt. Signature is made of 100% wool. Signature is a slightly heavier hat because it is made of wool. The trimming bandanas are made of cotton and woven polyester.

Where are the hats made?

Our hats are produced via the collaboration of two small businesses. Hats are blocked, sized, and lined by a small, woman-owned millinery in New York City. The trimmings are produced by another small business seamstress in New York City.
